PRIVACY POLICIES

The protection of your privacy and personal information is as important to us as if it were our own. We never sale, rent, share or disclose your contact information or any of your personal and private information with anyone…..EVER.  I detest my information being shared or sold without my permission or knowledge so I refuse to do that to anyone else.

Likewise, we do not automatically collect your email address from orders to add you to our mailing list. If you wish to be including in our list and receive our newsletters and occasional special mailings, you may opt-in to our mailing list on the home page.  I do encourage you to subscribe to the newsletter so you can get great info on products and beauty helps as well as be the first to know what’s happening that will be of interest to you. Once you are on our mailing list, if you decide you no longer want to receive our mailings, you can opt-out of continuing to receive them at any time.

 

PAYMENT INFORMATION SECURITY

With the avalanche of private information security breeches in recent years, we take great pains to make sure we do all we can to keep your personal financial and credit card  information safe and secure.  That is why we choose to use PayPal as our payment method. When you pay via PayPal, all credit card or bank information you enter with PayPal is received and stored on their secure servers with multiple layers of security measures they implement and update regularly, including encryption. We do not have access to any of your financial information or numbers nor do we ever see it.  All we see is your name, your detailed order, your mailing/shipping information and any additional contact information or notes to us that you have given when you complete the transaction. We do not have or store any of your personal financial information in our system. However, we do keep your name, mailing address, email address and phone number (if given) and your ordering history for our records and to better serve you in the future.  I can look back to see what you’ve ordered in the past and when.  If you set up an account on our site (which I do hope you will do), that information is kept secure under a multi-level security system as well.  

I would like to add that in my opinion, it really doesn’t get any safer or easier than PayPal for online transactions.  Plus because I’m not paying very costly monthly merchant account and gateway fees or for compliance reviews, assessments and certificates to be issued to this site, I don’t have to pass that extra cost onto you.  I’m sure you will agree…That is a very good thing!

PAYMENT 

All orders are currently processed through PayPal for your convenience and personal information safety. See above. It is not necessary to have a PayPal account to pay through PayPal. You can use your credit card via the PayPal payment transaction method without an account with them. PayPal charges sellers a percentage rate plus flat rate on every transaction. Those fees have been factored into the pricing and shipping fees already. 

 

SHIPPING & HANDLING

Currently, our shipping and handling fee is a flat fee based on your location/state and an average box weight and size. This is added to your total at the time of checkout. All orders that total $100.00 or more are set in our system to receive FREE SHIPPING.  That is also taken care of during your checkout process.  If for some reason (technology has a mind of its own), our cart system does not apply the free shipping to your order of $100.00+, I will refund the shipping fee back to you.  (Note:  These rates do not apply to wholesale account orders. Those are handled individually with our wholesale partners.) 

At this time, we do not use the signature requirement or additional insurance services offered by the postal service as a standard practice for retail orders. These add to the cost of your shipping fees and most don’t want to pay extra for these.  If you want to include signature requirement or insurance for your order, please contact us. You will be required to pay for those additional options before we ship via a manually processed PayPal invoice we’ll send to you.  It’s usually a flat fee or based on size and weight of your package and rarely totals more than a few dollars. 

We ship orders in the United States only using USPS Priority Mail.  We’re sorry but we do not take orders outside of the US or ship internationally at this time. If you provide an email address at time of order, you should receive a tracking number and delivery date estimation from the USPS when we schedule your package for shipping.  These dates are only estimates per the USPS and we are in no way responsible for delivery date guarantees based on these estimates.

It is important that when entering your shipping address at checkout, you verify that all information you give us is accurate there and with your PayPal information before completing the transaction. We do cross check the address between our order notification and the PayPal notification just to check for minor typos but we cannot verify addresses are correct with the US Postal Service. Unless otherwise noted, we go by the shipping address you enter in our system’s shopping cart that will show on your order. We are not responsible for inaccurate address information that has been entered which could result in loss of your order, delays in delivery or  failures in delivery.

We request tracking and delivery confirmation services from the Postal Service on all orders, so we get a notification of where packages are and when they are delivered.

We are not responsible for packages that have been logged as delivered by the postal service but reported as not received by the customer.  There are nor refunds, replacements or store credits given for shipments that the USPS reports as delivered or for refused or unclaimed packages.

Packages left unattended or left out in view on your premises are possibly subject to theft or disappearance.  If no one will be home to receive delivery in person or you think a package left out unattended may be taken from your premises, we recommend that you instruct your postal carrier where to leave packages so they will be out of view or have your package shipped to your place of employment or another location where it can be received in person.  Packages left unattended by the carrier or lost during delivery are not the responsibility of Neos Skin Care™ or its owners. There are no refunds, replacements or store credits given for missing or lost packages. 

 

LEAD TIMES

Because we make products to order for freshness and do not keep product stocked on shelves waiting to be purchased, it takes a bit more time for us to get your order ready for shipping than you may be used to.  Our current lead times from when you order until shipment are normally 5 – 12 days, depending on the product and size of order.  Orders containing soap bars may take a few more days as I like to let them cure for a harder bar that will last you a little longer. Wet or humid weather can delay that process by a few days. Please take this into consideration when ordering.  Also note that during busier shopping seasons, during and after a promotional sale or around holidays, these times may be a few days longer. We process orders in the order they are received so you may have several orders ahead of you to be filled. 

 

RETURN POLICIES

Due to the nature of our products, sanitation and contamination concerns and laws involving personal care and hygiene products, we cannot accept physical return of opened or used products purchased from Neos Skin Care™.   As such, we cannot offer refunds, product exchanges or store credits for products purchased from Neos Skin Care™ except in the event of defective products or damage incurred while in transit. 

Stuff happens!  Should you find your order has been damaged during shipping (Do those guys play football with the boxes??!!), there are manufacturing defects to the product or product container itself (Has only happened once in all these years.) or human errors during the packing and shipping phase of your order (Oops!) , please contact us immediately when you receive your order and discover the UGH. You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. We will take care of it as quickly and as pain-free as possible. I promise, we won’t beat you with a wet noodle. You will be required to provide proof of damage (per the USPS requirements) or defect and/or may be required to return any products for verification purposes. If return verification is required, you may be responsible for the return shipping expenses. But we’ll try to avoid that added expense on you if possible. 

While we would love to be able to offer a 100% money back guarantee for any reason, as a small business, we cannot do this like large companies can. We know that purchasing products such as ours can be difficult to do online. As we are able to do so, we plan to offer some product samples for purchase.  Until we find the right packaging and are able to put that into action, please ask us any questions you may have PRIOR to completing your purchase of full size retail products.

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

SITE TERMS OF SERVICE AND USE

These company policies are fully in effect and apply to everyone. This site and everything on it is the intellectual property of Neos Skin Care and its owners. All content on neosskincare.com, the Neos Skin Care blog, its affiliates and social media sites are protected under federal and international internet copyright laws. You are not permitted  to copy, download or use any material, copy, text, graphics, photos or any other content found on this site without the written permission of the owners.  This site is maintained and updated as needed and on a regular basis. In the event of an error in content or information on this site, it will be addressed as soon as possible.   

 

FYI

One last thing.  Hardly worth mentioning maybe but I must. I’ve been asked about offering layaway and other payment plan options for our products.  I’m sorry but that is just not something that we can do with online boutique or our products.  While our products may not fit into everyone’s budget, they are priced competitively for comparable  products of similar exceptional quality and they are entirely handcrafted from scratch to your order. They are not mass produced or made by machines and are not designed to be discount products.  We do have the occasional sale and member/subscriber specials that I think will be well worth your attention for the high quality you get with Neos Skin Care.  You may want to not only stay up on our happenings with our newsletter and get social with us through social media but also visit back often to see what promotional offers we may be offering that have not been announced elsewhere. So bookmark us and come browsing the boutique as often as you can.
